  • Explain the regulatory framework for environmental, social and governance (ESG) risks and its connection to the bank’s overall risk management (CRR III, EBA guidelines).
  • Review the Pillar 3 disclosure requirements on ESG risks applicable from 31.12.2026, including the qualitative tables and quantitative templates (Templates 1–10).
  • Explain the methodology for calculating greenhouse gas (GHG) and financed emissions (PCAF methodology, 7 asset classes) and the determination of data quality scores.
  • Review the calculation of the Green Asset Ratio (GAR) and the Banking Book Taxonomy Alignment Ratio (BTAR), and their link to the EU Taxonomy.
  • Introduce the new ESG supervisory reporting templates (D 01.02 – D 11.00) under the EBA reporting simplification package, entering into force in September 2027.
  • Provide practical examples and guidance for completing the disclosure and reporting templates.
